At The Dentist Wilmslow, we recognise that visiting the dentist can sometimes make you feel a little apprehensive, and that’s why we take the time to get to know you and understand how you feel about your teeth. All treatment is clearly explained and we involve you in all decisions, working at a pace to suit you.
Booking your first appointment?
To register at The Dentist Wilmslow, you will require a new patient examination and you can either telephone, email of visit the Practice in person to book an appointment. We will arrange your visit for a time which suits you best. If you are in pain or it is an emergency, every attempt will be made to see you as soon as possible.
Your first visit
Following a review of your medical and dental history, you will receive a comprehensive examination of your mouth and teeth. We may also use our specialist dental camera, so we can show you detailed images of your mouth. In order to complete your assessment, you may also require some x-rays of your teeth. For any immediate treatment, the dentist will explain and discuss with you any diagnosis and treatment options.
More complex treatments
A more complex medical history or treatment plan may require an additional consultation appointment in order to discuss your options thoroughly and agree with you the way forward.
